The average rate for hardwood installation is $2.75sqft throughout America. This rate was averaged from coast to coast at $2.25sqft(low) - $3.75sqft(high), your area may vary. California and New England have among the highest rates! Hardwood finishing rates are very similar to installation rates. All our labor rates are based on the accepted NOFMA standard of installation and finishing practices! ·  ·  ·  ·

If you are considering borders, medallions, feature strips or custom colors, you can expect a higher estimate.
